Do you have old photographs, home movies, sound recordings (on tape, record, wire), or books and documents which are part of community history? Please consider loaning your treasures for careful evaluation and digital conservation!
Your loan may make an important contribution to our area history, while at the same time making it possible to enjoy your heirlooms in a way you have never seen them.
All vintage media is destroyed by time. Home movies, photos and film negatives, video tapes and other treasures were not made with stable material and will eventually be lost, regardless of the care taken to preserve them!
We will be happy to evaluate your treasures and conserve and digitize any material we consider valuable to the historic record. We will return your heirlooms in cleaned condition, along with a digital copy of the work we produce. This donation will be made free of charge, providing we are permitted to add and use your historic materials in our archive and database.
