Abstract
Description
"As a further aid, the Griswolds donated the land on which the new building stood,  with  the  stipulation that the Company should have the right to move the structure at any time for the widening of the canal provided another plot of ground was given, and the moving expenses paid. Also the chapel could be used only for religious purposes, and a mortgage was given the mill for money expended in building."
